Before Palpatine, there was Darth Plagueis, a powerful Sith who taught the secrets of the side Darkness of the Force Palpatine. The latter quotes his former Master during a sequence that has become cult in Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. Not much is known about Darth Plagueis, however. apart from the fact that the latter had succeeded in tame death, and that he was assassinated by Palpatine. If we know a few things about Darth Plagueis, we know even less about his own master: Dark Tenebrous.
Who is dark tenebrous?
< p>Dark Tenebrous is a character from the Star Wars Legends universe. It made its first appearance in 2011. It was then readjusted. in the canon universe in 2015 in Star Wars: Millennium Falcon #44. Subsequently, he was identified only under the name Tenebrous in the reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Guide written by Pablo Hidalgo. Originally from the Bith species, Dark Tenebrous has a more developed brain. than the average, which makes him a renowned scientist. He notably worked on on the study of Midi-chlorians and on how to transfer one's consciousness into the body of others.
Né Rugess Nome, the character quickly took the pseudonym of Dark Tenebrous when he was introduced. trained to the Sith arts by an unknown Master. Like many other Sith after him, Darth Tenebrous decides to assassinate his Master to rise to the top. the condition of Sith. Subsequently, Darth Tenebrous spread his influence throughout the political and social spheres of the Republic. Over time, he took many apprentices under his wing, including Dark Venamis and Dark Plagueis. Darth Tenebrous was also very special. comfortable in the design of weapons, vehicles and ships. And, there is a good chance that he is the engineer behind the Scimitar, Darth Maul's ship.
The story of Darth Tenebrous
Tenebrous also possessed an incredible gift for seeing the future, and also predicted the future arrival of a Unique Sith

He also took a very close interest in the prophecy of the chosen one, with the ambition of possessing the body ofthis ultimate being of the Force. He choosesDarth Plagueis as an apprentice with the aim of owning it after his death. Darth Plagueis indeed possessed incredible abilities to act with Midi-chlorians. He hoped that Darth Plagueis would become the chosen one. Tenebrous then planned the betrayal of his apprentice. He then injected himself with a large dose of a retrovirus of his design, which would transform part of its Midi-chlorians into organisms capable of perpetuating consciousness even after death. He called them the Maxi-chlorians. When Darth Plagueis killed his master, Darth Tenebrous took refuge in Darth Plagueis' consciousness. His goal was then to infiltrate the body of the future chosen one. But he noticed that Darth Plagueis would not be the chosen one, nor even his own apprentice: Darth Sidious. Darth Tenebrous quickly understood that Darth Plagueis was going to be assassinated by his own apprentice. Darth Tenebrous also understood that by having infiltrated the Darth Plagueis, he deprived him of his of its capacity &àgrave; see the future and therefore anticipate his assassination. Wanting to undo this, Tenebrous freed his apprentice. His consciousness then returned to his mummified remains. And since then, it has been rumored that Dark Tenebrous relives his own death over and over again…
