What is South Park?
Since 1997, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been developing the cult universe of South Park< /em>. An animated series for adults that is trashy, irreverent, crude, violent and immensely funny, South Park has become an absolute reference of the genre for a whole generation. After 26 seasons led by 20 minute episodes (and a film released in 1998) recently, Matt Stone and Trey Parker have changed format.
Indeed, the two artists have signed a mind-blowing deal with Paramount. In 2021, the duo is approaching by Paramount. The studio offers them moreof $700 million to produce 14 new “movies” and several new seasons for Comedy Central. If we put films in quotation marks, it's because the new format of South Park episodes are small “films” from 45 minutes to a 1 hour. A new format which seems to be a hit on Paramount+, where; These new episodes are broadcast.
A new episode in May
The 7th special episode of South Park on Paramount+ is revealed in a first teaser. After, South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park The Streaming Wars, South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2, South Park: Joining the Panderverse and < em>South Park (not suitable for children), the new episode of the South Park sagawill be called South Park: The End of Obesity.
At the rate of two productions per year, the special episodes of South Park are always highly anticipated by fans of the franchise.
