Hylio's AG-21 drone can service large solar power plants, cleaning them of dust and other contaminants.
The American company Hylio has developed the AG-210 drone, which can increase the efficiency of solar panels by cleaning their surface. This is reported by the Solar Power World portal.

As noted in the publication, servicing large solar stations may require a whole staff of personnel to clean the panels. One of the tasks of the Hylio drone is to automate this process.
AG-210 is a small and maneuverable drone, originally created for spraying herbicides on agricultural land, where solar panels are also located. In addition, it can be used to clean panels from dust and other contaminants, which prevents a decrease in energy production.
“The AG-210 will make solar farm management more efficient,” — says Hylio co-founder and CEO Arthur Erickson.
According to the company, the AG-210 can process up to 6 hectares per hour. The drone can operate in both autonomous and manual control modes. Hylio's proprietary software allows you to combine several such drones into a swarm. Three UAVs can be controlled from a single ground station.
The developers also equipped the drone with two wide-angle radars, a built-in HD camera, and backup GPS units so it can detect and avoid obstacles in real time.
