Slovak Prime Minister Fico was shot by a 71-year-old owner of a short-barreled gun

Slovak media reported that Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico was shot by a 71-year-old man from the city of Levice in the west of the country.

Such data was published by the Slovak private TV channel Joj and the Dennik N portal, European Pravda reports.< /p>

According to media reports, the shooter, born in 1953, shot from a “short-barreled gun, which he had legally.”

Officially, law enforcement agencies in Slovakia have not yet revealed the identity of the shooter, who, as it is known that they have already been detained.

As reported, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot after a government retreat on May 15, he was taken to the hospital.

According to witnesses who were at scene, the prime minister approached the people who were greeting him, and that’s when several shots were fired. After this, the head of government fell to the ground.
