Six FSB agents who passed on data about strategic objects will be tried in Ukraine

Six Russian intelligence agents passed on to the FSB the coordinates of critically important facilities in Ukraine, including electrical substations, defense enterprises, and air defense systems. They operated under the direction of pro-Russian Telegram channels and facilitated strikes by the Russian army.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent indictments against six Russian intelligence agents to court. They are charged with high treason under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the accused were remotely recruited by administrators of pro-Russian Telegram channels and were part of the Russian FSB agent network. They provided the occupiers with coordinates of critical infrastructure facilities and the military-industrial complex, as well as information about the deployment of Ukrainian troops and air defense systems.

The Russian military used the data obtained for missile attacks and drone strikes on strategic facilities.

Currently, all suspects are in custody without the possibility of bail.

If the FSB agents are proven guilty in court, they face life imprisonment. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the USBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
