|Toronto/Montreal – Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner won the Masters tournament for the first time in Toronto, three days before his 22nd birthday. He won over the Australian Alex de Minaur in the final 6:4, 6:1 and defeated him in the fifth match between them. The native of Innichen celebrated his eighth title on the ATP circuit.
