Shots aimed at commercial buildings in Montreal and Laval

Several shots were fired during the night from Thursday to Friday towards two businesses in Montreal and Laval. The police are not commenting at this time on the possibility of a link between the two events.

Around 1:30 a.m., several calls were made received at the 911 center to report shots fired in the direction of a car dealership located on Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, near the intersection of Chemin Devonshire, in Mont-Royal. /p>

The front door of the Laval business bears traces of impacts from firearm projectiles.

Here too, no injuries and no arrests have been reported. Investigators are hard at work collecting clues.

The police, both in Laval and in Montreal, are not coming forward to the moment on the possibility of a link between the two events, which took place about thirty minutes apart and 15 minutes apart between the two businesses.
