Robert Picton, 74, convicted of murdering 26 wives, died after being attacked by a prisoner, the AP reports. Picton had previously suffered from an illness in Quebec, Canada. We know that he brought the victims to his pig farm, and the corpses of the slaughtered ones were fed to the pigs.

The condemned man was attacked on the 19th of May, which is why any details of the conflict were not brought up. Picton was hospitalized, but died at the doctor’s office as a result of his injuries. According to the 51-year-old authorities, law enforcement agents are working on attacking someone.

Serial killing in Canada from 1997 to 2001. Most of those killed were sex workers and drug addicts, so the police did not immediately start investigating.

Pickton was arrested in 2002. During the search on his farm, the remains or DNA of 33 women were found. Picton himself allegedly boasted to the policeman under cover that he had killed 49 wives. The trial lasted 18 months. In 2007, the court convicted the maniac to death.
