Sergei Shoigu revealed some details of the use of modern technology in Syria. The head of the Russian defense department recalled the operation, during which about 80 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) took to the skies over the Middle Eastern country. The devices were in flight, and at the headquarters in Moscow, specialists could observe them and see the entire environment. This is comparable to a semi-fantastic film, the commander-in-chief said.
He did not disclose the details of the operation, but highly appreciated the potential of special equipment used for aerial reconnaissance. Sergei Shoigu stressed that the Russian Federation has very effective developments. They allow you to find out up to 80% of the necessary data, while Western counterparts are four times worse, reports iReactor.
