Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said his country is no longer as eager to join the EU as it used to be, Politico writes.
He said he was open to the prospect of joining Serbia in the EU in the near future is “pessimistic”.
“We no longer have the same fervor as before – just as the European Union is not as passionate about us as we thought” , – said the President of Serbia.
However, Vucic considers “important and good” the idea of the European Political Community, an intergovernmental forum created in 2022 after a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
