Seoul to send team to Ukraine to monitor North Korean troops

South Korea is planning to send a team to Ukraine to monitor and analyze Russia's deployment of North Korean troops, a spokesman for the South Korean president said on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

The official, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity, said Seoul and its allies estimated that at least 11,000 North Korean troops had been moved to Russia, with more than 3,000 now deployed near the front lines in Ukraine.
