Season 3 of The Hospital and its ghosts, Lars Von Trier's hallucinatory series, arrives on Canal +

Entitled The Kingdom Exodus, this new season comes almost 25 years after the last.
“I'll see you again in 25 years”: this is what Laura Palmer replied to Agent Cooper in 1992 in the last episode of season 2 of Twin Peaks of David Lynch. A promise kept, the series returned in 2017 for a third season rich in emotions. Lars Von Trierseems to have learned his lesson, and is also bringing his cult series The Hospital and its Ghosts back to the screen almost 25 years after its last season on Danish television.

Dedicated to the neurosurgery department of a large hospital in Copenhagen, the series is considered a television summit, integrated into the Dogma95 in the 90s, a cinematographic movement subject to very precise rules such as the use of a 35mm format and a camera usually carried by hand. Presented at this year's Series Mania festival, the 5 episodes of the third season of The Hospital and its ghosts, titled The Kingdom Exodus, will be available on MyCanal from April 7.
All episodes are written and directed by Lars Von Trier himself, before a possible return of the filmmaker to cinemas? Suffering from Parkinson's disease, he had however said that he was “in a good state of mind” when refining his series.
