The calculations confirmed that the Earth has never warmed up faster than today in the last 10 million years, which threatens humanity with the most catastrophic consequences.

Climatologists around the world have been sounding the alarm for decades. Experts warn that if the situation is not changed, the Earth will heat up to extreme temperatures, which will make life on its surface unbearable. Scientists argue that the changes that have taken place in recent years are unlike any climatic fluctuations in the entire history of the planet. Modern society is witnessing the warmest era in a thousand years. Moreover, about 90% of all changes are provoked by human activity. All this threatens with extreme consequences. This hypothesis is supported by a recently compiled climate model. The authors of a scientific paper from the University of Bremen in Germany warn that if the state of affairs does not change, the temperature on Earth will reach catastrophic levels, which have not been in the past 34 million years.
This theory is supported by the results of various studies, including the study of ancient sediments of the ocean floor. These rocks are about 66 million years old. According to German scientists, the information obtained proves that the Earth went through four climatic phases – warm, hot, cold and very cold. During the hot period, which was observed about 50 million years ago, the average temperature on Earth was about 10 degrees higher than today. In this case, heating occurred rather slowly. Given the pace that is observed today, scientists make the most disappointing forecasts.
The University of California, Santa Cruz warns of the worst-case scenario. They suggest that by 2300 the global temperature on Earth will rise enough to provoke irreversible climate change on the planet.
