Specialists from the University of Paris spoke about the long-term side effects faced by a person who has had a coronavirus infection. According to French scientists, patients who have recovered from COVID-19 can subsequently suffer from memory loss, sleep disturbances and other troubles for years.

Scientists emphasize that they carried out a thorough analysis of data on the well-being of people who have had a coronavirus disease. So it became known that after 110 days after recovery, 55% of such people developed increased fatigue, more than a third (34%) suffered from memory loss, 28% complained of distraction, and almost 31% experienced sleep disturbances. Among other things, every fifth patient complained to doctors about hair loss, another 42% noted that they often suffer from shortness of breath and shortness of breath.

According to scientists, such results of scientific work only emphasize how important research is, within the framework of which long-term observations of people who have had coronavirus are carried out. In addition, it is necessary to develop special rehabilitation programs for such patients.
