Scientists: Ginger May Lower Risk of Bowel Cancer

European scientists have shown that the constant consumption of ginger reduces the risk of developing bowel cancer. Geraniol contained in this root provides the fight against a deadly disease.

Experts conducted a study involving 30 volunteers. All of them were asked to include ginger in their diet. Throughout the experiment, the scientists controlled that each participant took 2 g of the extract of this root per day. Scientists have recorded that the volunteers experienced a significant reduction in the number of tumor markers, writes the Express edition. In addition, ginger has anti-inflammatory properties, relieves suffering and helps fight pain.
