Scientists from the United States managed to find an explanation for the mysterious signals coming from space. Also, experts from Columbia University, Stanford and California Universities told how they are related to magnetars.

Astronomers have long tried to understand the nature and origin of radio signals recorded in space. The new work suggests that magnetars are responsible for this phenomenon. The latter are a type of neutron luminary, characterized by an extremely powerful magnetic field. Intense radiation can be a consequence of the ejection of a plasma capable of moving at a speed close to light. Its propagation is observed in a magnetized medium, where there are many particles from quarks, including protons and neutrons. The shock wave arising against the background of the ejection provokes synchrotron X-ray and y-radiation. The subsequent contact of the latter with plasma ejections is responsible for the formation of high-energy neutrinos.
Confirmation of the model proposed by scientists is possible if there is at least one neutrino that has a connection with the FRB.
