The study found that men who drink 7 or more cups of tea a day have a 50% increase in the risk of developing prostate cancer, compared with those who drink no more than 3 glasses of the drink. The authors of the scientific work admitted that they were discouraged by the results obtained, since all earlier experiments proved the benefits of tea drinking. At the moment, experts are trying to refrain from commenting, planning a number of additional studies.
It is worth noting that scientists have indeed repeatedly stated the benefits of drinking tea. Studies have shown that this drink can reduce the risk of cancer, as well as protect against heart problems, Parkinson's disease and diabetes.
