The study, conducted by scientists, was attended by adults who complain of episodic migraine attacks. All subjects consumed 539 milligrams of caffeine every day, had an average age of just over 46 years, normal weight and blood pressure at 134 to 83. The study found that quitting caffeine can actually cause severe headaches. Experts recorded a similar withdrawal syndrome even in two participants in the experiment, who had never previously encountered this phenomenon.

However, it was not possible to find an answer to the question of how caffeine withdrawal affects the body of a person suffering from migraines. But scientists were able to clearly show that a sudden and abrupt rejection of an invigorating drink can really act as a powerful trigger, which provokes migraine attacks.
