Schools in the Rivne, Chernihiv and Sumy regions bordering Belarus will have only online learning from September 1. This reported  Chairman of the Rivne Regional State Administration Vitaliy Koval.

The schools of the 40-kilometer border zone with the Republic of Belarus will have only online education. That is, children will not physically go to school. This decision was made by the Defense Council Rivne region on the safety of participants in the educational process.

If parents from these territories want their children to study offline, the authorities will organize the delivery of such students to the nearest educational institutions outside the 40-kilometer border zone.

School – this is a security area. Therefore, in some communities of the Varash and Sarnensky districts, we introduce only distance learning.

Vyacheslav Chaus, Chairman of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, also informed about a 40-kilometer security zone:

A clear list of educational institutions that are located within a 40-kilometer zone from the border has been approved. Such educational institutions cannot work full-time.

In the Sumy region, at 25 -km zone from the border with Russia, schools will work exclusively online. these attacks does not exceed 15 km. From September 1, most schools in the Sumy region will work on a mixed form of education.
