“This is something that will continue to develop, but now it is being promoted from there (from Great Britain) “, – he said during a press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Turkish president, in turn, expressed his desire to “leave behind some difficulties” in the supply of defense industry products.

In July, Erdogan called on Scholz to lift the ban on the sale of Eurofighter jets to Ankara.

According to the media, Turkey expects “positive signals” from Germany regarding the purchase of Eurofighter jets.

It was also reported that Germany approved the sale for the first time in a long time significant amounts of weapons to Turkey.
