The occupiers deliberately fired on the colony in Olenevka, which led to a number of casualties, including among Ukrainian prisoners of war. The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted the conversations of the occupiers, confirming Russia's involvement in a war crime, the agency reports on  Facebook page .

“The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted telephone conversations in which the occupiers confirm that it is the Russian troops who are guilty of this tragedy. Thus, even the militants of the “DPR” do not believe in the lies of Russian propaganda that the “shelling” correctional institution in Olenevka was committed by Ukraine”, – writes the press service of the SBU.

It is noted that there are several such audio interceptions at the disposal of the SBU, and all of them will be used as evidence of another Russian war crime.

The occupiers could arrange a tragedy on their own due to the explosives placed in the premises of the colony. None of the eyewitnesses heard the sound of the rocket arriving.
near the penal colony, Rashists to strike at the territory controlled by Ukraine. However, no retaliatory shelling was observed.

Also, judging by the video on the Web, windows in some rooms of the colony were completely intact, which indicates that the epicenter of the explosion was inside the building, and its walls “protected” neighboring rooms from the blast wave.

At the same time, the traces of the explosion on the walls are characteristic precisely of the “internal source”; explosion.

"No matter what nonsense the enemy comes up with to justify himself, it is obvious to everyone that it is Russia that is to blame for the deliberate murder of Ukrainian prisoners of war. This is confirmed by the first available evidence. I am sure that subsequently the evidence base will only be supplemented”, – said the interim head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk.
