SBU detained 8 Russian agents: they were planning sabotage in several regions

Among the Detainees Are Teenagers Who Tried to Destroy Four Relay Cabinets

This is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers detained 8 Russian agents who committed arson in various regions of Ukraine. They tried to destroy relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia signaling installations in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Mykolaiv regions. It is known that they were recruited by FSB agents via Telegram channels. In particular:

  • In the Kyiv region, an 18-year-old resident of the Donetsk region was detained, who was recruited by the FSB in 2025;
  • In the Zhytomyr region, three agents were detained – two of them turned out to be 23-year-old drug addicts, they were engaged in arson and their girlfriend recorded the crimes;
  • In the Mykolaiv region, arson brothers aged 14 and 16 were caught red-handed, who tried to destroy four relay cabinets that ensure the safe movement of trains, in particular in the southern direction front.

Now the perpetrators have been declared suspects. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
