Sanctions do not allow Russians to take away billions of dollars and euros, - Z MI

Rashists managed to bypass EU and US sanctions introduced in the spring of 2022 on the import of ready-made currency sent nearly 2.3 billion dollars and euros to the aggressor.

Mitny data, as Reuters writes, show that the preparation was imported from the United Arab Emirates and Turkey, but they did not introduce restrictions on trade from the Russian Federation. In the meantime, half of the currency will be lost to the unknown.

The Mitni documents will be stored during the period from the beginning of 2022 to the beginning of 2023. During the leaf fall period of 2021 through 2022, Russia received as much as 19 billion dollars and euros, the same as in the previous months —  17 million.

The data also indicate a sharp increase in imported food just before the start of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

From early 2022 to the end of 2023 They imported more than 98 million dolars The influx of foreign currency, however, will be richly growing.

In the opinion of the experts, data suggest that real currency flows into Russia are likely to be underestimated. Experts also indicate that for Russians, dollars and euros will become less necessary for purchases and will become more expensive, while Moscow is trying to reduce its holdings of these currencies.
