Ten years ago, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Alpha — a thin 6.7 mm smartphone that later inspired the design of the Galaxy S6 next year.
According to data from the Korean publication ETNews, citing industry insiders, the company is going to repeat a similar experiment. Insiders claim that Samsung will release a Slim version of one of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000It will be a separate device that will appear later — the Galaxy S25 series itself (which includes the standard version, Plus and Ultra) is expected early next year.
The slim version will be released in a few months, just like it was with the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The main attention will be paid to reducing the thickness. It is not yet clear which of the three S25 models will be the basis for the Galaxy S25 Slim.
According to insiders, in this way Samsung will be able to test the demand for thin phones. If the results are encouraging, the company will take this into account when developing the Galaxy S26.
