Samsung is preparing the first smartphone with support for satellite communication

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has already managed to gain a reputation as one of the thinnest and lightest flagship smartphones of today. According to the 3C certification site, the new model has another important advantage, as reported by Gizmochina.

According to the information presented in the 3C database, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with the model number SM-S9380 will support fast 45 W charging, just like its predecessors. However, the charger is not included in the package.

The key difference of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the support of satellite communication, which will make it the first Samsung smartphone with this function, which the company's other models do not yet have.

Renders of the device, published by OnLeaks in collaboration with AndroidHeadlines, show that there will be no major design changes. However, Ice Universe warns that these images may not accurately reflect all details such as the front panel, metal frame, texture and design of the camera. Earlier leaks indicate that the new product will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which showed high results in Geekbench tests. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will also have a 6.8-inch screen, a 200-megapixel main camera, an improved 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, a 50-megapixel zoom camera and a periscopic telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The device will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and protection against dust and water according to the IP68 standard.

The official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to take place in early 2025.
