Samsung is preparing the release of its thinnest smartphone, Galaxy S25 FE after the release of the new iPhone Air. The novelty will receive a more refined design compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, which is 8 mm thick. The new Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be even thinner.

Such a decision could be part of Samsung's strategy to compete with the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to be the first major redesign from Apple since 2017.

What we know about the new Galaxy S24 FE from Samsung 

At the beginning of September, the company announced a new product. This device received a design similar to the basic models, supports the functions of artificial intelligence Galaxy AI and will receive updates until 2031, when Android 21 will be released.

The novelty will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and frequency 120 Hz refresh, which will ensure smoothness of the image. The smartphone will work on the basis of Android 14 with the One UI 6.1 interface.
