Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra release date announced: when will you be able to buy the smartphone

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models will go on sale on Friday, February 7.

Later this month, Samsung will hold its final Galaxy Unpacked launch event, and the community will get their first look at the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Forbes reports.

Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22. This date was first suggested due to leaked promotional images. The photos (which were later removed from the network) were dated January 22, 2025.

In previous years, pre-orders for the new Galaxy S phones have opened at the end of the event, allowing those who watched the live stream to register immediately. As of today, pre-orders will begin two days after the event, on Friday, January 24, and will be open until Tuesday, February 4.

If Samsung follows the same pattern as in previous years, there will be several offers during the pre-order window: discounts on accessories (including the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds), upgrades to the next tier of cloud storage, and exclusive colors.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25, and Galaxy S25+ models will go on sale on Friday, February 7. This is in line with Samsung's traditional two-week gap between opening pre-orders and the phones going on sale in different regions around the world.
