Samsung plans to present its first smart ring. Some details about the functionality of the Galaxy Ring and its expected weight in the lightest version have already become known. There are already other smart rings on the market, such as Oura's Gen 3 and Ultrahuman's Ring Air, but Samsung is preparing to make its own contribution to the category with the Galaxy Ring.
The public demonstration of Smsung's smart ring took place during the MWC 2024 event in February. After that, the company remained silent about the Galaxy Ring, but hinted at its release in the summer. According to the latest rumors, the device will be unveiled on July 10 along with other Samsung products.
South Korean insider @rodersuper said about the minimum weight of the Galaxy Ring, which has not yet been officially confirmed. According to @rodersuper, the lightest model will weigh about 1 gram and consist of enough electronics to control a smartphone camera.
