Samsung declassifies the capabilities of the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge before the announcement

Samsung continues to surprise with technological innovations. After the successful launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which includes the S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra models in global markets last month, the South Korean manufacturer has hinted at the release of another innovative device – the Galaxy S25 Edge, the official announcement of which will take place in the near future.

The device has the model number SM-S937, its US version is designated as SM-S937U, and the Chinese version has the number SM-S9370. Recently, the European version of the device with the model number SM-S937B appeared on the Geekbench database.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. In addition to the US, the European audience will also receive the Snapdragon-based version of the S25 Edge. As with other S25 phones, there may not be an Exynos-based version of the device.

The European version of the Galaxy S25 Edge received 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 15. It scored 2806 points in the single-core test and 8416 points in the multi-core test.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be an ultra-thin phone with a thickness of only 5.84 mm. The device is likely to feature a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2600 nits of brightness. It is expected to have a 3900mAh battery with support for 25W wired and wireless charging.
