Work is underway to increase wage subsidies. Who will be able to count on higher money?
As reported by the “Super Express” portal, the Sejm has amended the regulations regarding wage subsidies for employees with a disability certificate. They can expect a 15 percent increase in subsidies. The Senate will now deal with the regulations. The president's signature will decide whether the regulations will finally come into force. Who will benefit from them?
The regulations amended by the MPs assume an increase in the amount of the supplement paid to the salaries of disabled employees from PFRON funds. The increase is to amount to approx. 15 percent.
For people with a significant degree of disability, the fee will be raised from the current PLN 2,400 to PLN 2,760. The supplement paid for people with a moderate degree of disability will increase from PLN 1,350 to PLN 1,550. In the case of the allowance for people with a mild degree of disability, the allowance will be increased from PLN 500 to PLN 575.
Additional allowances for working people who have a disability certificate in connection with specific illnesses will also change. These include mental illnesses, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders, epilepsy and blind people.
In the case of specific illnesses, the allowance for a significant degree of disability will increase from PLN 1,200 to PLN 1,380. For the moderate degree, this is an increase from the current PLN 900 to PLN 1,035, and for the mild degree from PLN 600 to PLN 690.
If the amended regulations come into force in their current form, the increase in wage subsidies for disabled employees will be compensated from July 1, 2024.
