Ukrainian sailors will be able to cross the border upon the approval of the territorial manning center. Prime Minister Denys Shmygal reported this.

Sailors will be able to cross the border only upon the approval of the territorial manning center.&nbsp ;The government made a corresponding decision at today's meeting (August 27 – ed.).

Men who are crew members of sea and river vessels and continue to work on ships will be allowed to go abroad.  As well as students (cadets) of educational institutions who must undergo practical training on board.

The head of government noted that Ukraine – one of the world leaders in the number of highly qualified seafarers. More than 100,000 Ukrainians work in the global merchant shipping. Such a solution will provide jobs for thousands of seafarers and increase budget revenues.

BAGNET recalls that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky recently responded to the third petition with a proposal to lift the ban on traveling abroad for men aged 18-60 without military experience. The head of state said that all restrictions would be lifted upon the end of martial law .
