In Kharkiv, two 17-year-old boys became involved in a high-profile sabotage case.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office completed the investigation and sent an indictment to the court against the youths who, according to the investigation, set fire to the buildings of the territorial procurement centers (TCC) in the city on the order of the Russian special services.
As the law enforcement officers established, one of the boys was looking for part-time work through the Telegram messenger.
In May 2024, he came across an offer from a Russian curator who promised a monetary reward for setting fire to TCC buildings. Later, the young man involved in «work» of his friend.
During May-June, the boys carried out two attacks. They agreed in advance with the «employer» plan of action, used incendiary liquid for arson and recorded the result on a video, which was sent to the customer as proof of the completion of the task. They received payment for their actions.
Saboteurs set fire to two TCC buildings in different districts of Kharkiv. The facilities were damaged, but fortunately there were no casualties.
Law enforcement officers exposed the perpetrators thanks to the operational support of investigators of the State Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Molodyks were detained and are currently in custody, awaiting a court hearing. Their case will be heard in the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv.
The defendant is charged with sabotage committed under martial law by a group of individuals. According to ch. 2 Art. 28, ch. 2 Art. 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, they face up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
