The United States believes that Russia's reaction to its failures in the war in Ukraine cannot be foreseen, and calls on American troops to be more vigilant. Voice of America reports.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley said:
The war is not going well for Russia right now. Therefore, we all have an obligation to maintain a high level of preparedness.
< p>His remarks were a reminder of the risk of escalation against the backdrop of a successful UAF counter-offensive.
Milli visited a military base in Poland that is helping Ukraine in the military operations. During the trip, he inspected an air defense base, including a missile system Patriot. It can be used for defense if Russia risks all go to war with NATO and attack the base.
Milli estimates that US troops in Europe are not under any increased threat, but they should be on alert.
During a war, you just don't know with a high degree of certainty what's going to happen next.
Milli noted that the war was in a new phase and suggested that the situation might change in a few weeks or months.
In this regard, we must closely monitor Russia's reaction to this.
