Russian hackers carry out cyberattacks on the services of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine every week. To counteract this, a Cyber Incident Response Center was created.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko, RBC-Ukraine reports with a link to the telethon broadcast.
According to Chernogorenko, the Cyber Incident Response Center was launched six months ago. It monitors cyber threats around the clock, since cyberspace for the enemy is another battlefield with Ukraine.
“Indeed, the frequency of attacks on our systems is constant and depends on how much the enemy directs resources… Every week we encounter enemy attacks. They change their pattern, we analyze all this. The center analyzes and accumulates this experience,” the official said.
She specified that Ukraine has learned to model the enemy's next cyberattacks, and is also constantly looking for potential weaknesses and eliminating them.
Ukraine also cooperates with NATO countries for joint defense against cyber threats.
Recall that yesterday, December 19, Russia organized a large-scale cyberattack on Ukraine. In particular, the “Reserve+” application did not work.
Also, after some time, a number of services in the “Diya” application stopped working.
