Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said that the country is ready to support peace talks to end the war in Ukraine, but so far Vienna does not see that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, abandoned his aggressive intentions. He said this in an interview with Wiener Zeitung.
"Of course, if diplomacy becomes the dominant force, we would be ready to accept negotiators. But we are very far from that. Even after Putin's speech in Vladivostok, you can see that he has no desire to give up. Quite the opposite. Russia's goal seems to still be to destroy Ukraine", – said the chief Austrian diplomat.
