Russian servicemen from the Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) delivered 3.5 tons of humanitarian supplies to Syria. Food and basic necessities were handed over to persons who have suffered from the actions of illegal armed groups.
The military from the CPVS, involved in the implementation of the peace mission, delivered the goods to the village of El Beida, which is located in the province of Tartus. The total weight of products and household goods is 3511.7 tons. According to available information, Russia, after the end of active hostilities, began to provide assistance to the civilian population of the SAR.
The settlement process was launched in connection with the need to stabilize the general situation in Syria, and from the very beginning, the CPVS officers carried out 2,174 humanitarian actions. The Russian side also appeals to members of illegal armed groups, proposing not to undertake various armed provocations in the controlled areas.
