MOSCOW (Reuters) – The Russian Direct Investment Fund and its partner ChemRar will supply the Avafavir coronavirus drug to 17 more countries, RDIF said in a statement on Thursday.
Avifavir was approved by the Russian Ministry of Health in May and contains the active ingredient favipiravir.
Clinical trials in Japan and Russia have confirmed the effectiveness of these drugs, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement.
