Russia reacted to Ukraine's visa-free decision

Russia does not plan to introduce visas for citizens of Ukraine. They remembered “relatives from Ukraine who need support.”

This was stated by the chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky, Interfax reports.

To the question , whether Moscow will introduce visas for Ukrainians, Slutsky said:

"Why? We have a lot of relatives in Ukraine there, people who are counting on our help. Imagine that we will do the same.

BAGNET recalls that the Cabinet of Ministers introduces visa regime with the Russian Federation. The new rules will come into force as early as July 1 this year.

Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky said that  the introduction of a visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation to travel to Ukraine is a good idea that needs to be brought to fruition .
