MOSCOW (Reuters) – Oil and gas condensate production in Russia rose slightly in September to 9.93 million barrels per day compared to the previous month, two sources familiar with the Russian Energy Ministry's statistics told Reuters.
In August, oil and gas condensate production amounted to 9.86 million barrels per day.
When converting tonnes to barrels, Reuters uses a coefficient of 7.33.
The Energy Ministry did not provide a prompt comment.
Official production data will be released on October 2 and may be slightly adjusted.
As part of the OPEC + deal, Russia pledged to produce 9 million barrels per day of oil from August until the end of 2020. Gas condensate was excluded from the deal.
The Russian Federation produces 0.7-0.8 million barrels per day of gas condensate, the volumes of which may increase due to seasonality.
