
Russia deployed fighters and transport aircraft to Belarus

< p>On Sunday, January 15, eight fighter jets and four Russian military transport planes arrived in Belarus. This is reported by “Belarusian Gayun”.
At the airfield “Baranovichi” in the period from 15:50 to 16:50, four Su-34 fighters and four Su-30 fighters landed.
It is known for sure that two Su-30SMs were heading from Kursk (RF). Remarkably , that before the arrival of today's fighters, two Su-34s of the Russian Aerospace Forces were stationed in Baranovichi.
The monitoring group also adds that between 12:46 and 17:50, three transport aircraft arrived in Baranovichi An-12 aircraft and another An-26. Three of them were heading from Russia, and one was in Machulishchi and flew to Baranovichi, from where it left at 14:05.
According to our data , at least a part and boards brought something – it is likely that ammunition for fighters.
They suggest that the purpose of such a transfer of aircraft is to participate in the exercises of Russia and Belarus, which will begin on January 16 and last until February 1.
