It is advisable to have several cards, one to pay on the Internet, and the second one is not “shine”. At the same time, it is recommended to transfer to the first one only the amount that is required for payment. In addition, you need to have a limit for payments on the Web, because even if attackers gain access to the account, they will not be able to spend the entire amount online. Experts advise against storing your card data on third-party sites, including online stores, it is better to enter the details again every time. Before operations, it is important to make sure that this is a real site, and not a fake copy.
When using instant messengers, it is better not to share card data, especially in the form of a photo. If there is such a need, it is advisable to do it in parts and in different channels. The greatest protection should be provided for the card's validity period and CVV code. One-time passwords from SMS should not be sent to anyone, RIA Novosti writes.
