At BVB, the 44-year-old should help the stumbling team back on their feet from summer as the successor to Edin Terzic. BVB is currently level on points with Gladbach in the table, so the all-important Champions League participation is in danger for both clubs.
According to reports, a fixed five million euros transfer fee will be due for Rose. In 2019 Rose came to Gladbach from RB Salzburg. Since then he has led the team into the Champions League and there for the first time into the round of 16.
UPDATE (3:06 p.m.):
The foals have now confirmed that Rose wants to leave the club. Max Eberl can be quoted: “Unfortunately, he has now decided that he would like to make use of a clause in his contract that runs until June 2022 and move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer”.
The manager for the process: “If the conditions stipulated in his contract are met on time, he will no longer be available to us after the end of the season.”
