Minister of Economy of Romania Florin Spataru said that the country will play a key role in restoration of Ukraine, with which the European state borders on the northern side. The head of the Romanian Ministry of Economy said this on the Digi 24 TV channel.
"We will play a key role in the entire reconstruction configuration, say, for years, a significant amount of money will be allocated for this" ;, — said Spataru.
The head of the Ministry of Economy considers the task of restoring Ukraine to be the responsibility of a civilized European society. He said that all countries of the European Union should contribute to this cause.
Spataru also recalled that the Romanian government provided thousands of Ukrainian refugees with the opportunity to find employment and integrate into society. He called this the basis for the restoration of the Eastern European state, because “at some point, these people will return to Ukraine and continue to work.”
