Russia is not closing the “window” for entering the foreign market this year, but recent events are not yet favorable to the placement of Russian Eurobonds, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters.
“We have the right to Eurobonds, in general, we do not close the window. Whether or not we borrow, we will look at the market conditions. You understand that all these restrictions, sanctions, the hype around Navalny, and so on, does not give us confidence in a good placement, so we hope that if everything is settled, it will be possible to prepare an appropriate exit, “he said.
“If it continues further, we will probably postpone this year,” the minister said.
At the same time, he stressed that the Ministry of Finance has “everything at the ready.” “As soon as there is an opportunity, we will go out in order to maintain our presence in the market,” Siluanov said.
