The German Foreign Minister and the US President are aware of Russia's attempts to interfere in the Moldovan presidential election.
“Voter bribery, manipulation on the eve of elections and threats to mine Moldovan polling stations, even in Germany, are aimed at the very heart of European democracy. Putin will stop at nothing. But this cannot dissuade Moldova from its chosen course,” the German Foreign Minister noted. Annalena Baerbock.

In a statement released by the White House, Biden also emphasized that Moldovans voted for “President Sandu's vision of a secure, prosperous and democratic Moldova.”
“For months, Russia has tried to undermine democratic institutions and electoral processes in Moldova. But it has failed. The Moldovan people have exercised their democratic right to choose their own future and have chosen a path that brings them closer to Europe and democracy around the world,” the US President stated.
