Reports of enemy defeats via Army+: Rustem Umerov revealed details of the launch of a new project

The Cabinet of Ministers supported the launch of the project «Report on defeat», which will allow to digitize and organize reporting on the results of combat operations in our troops.

This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on January 3.

«Today we have taken an important step to increase the effectiveness of the Defense Forces of Ukraine», — he stated.

According to him, at the first stage, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and National Guard will be able to provide the General Staff with daily reports on enemy defeats via Army+. Reports will be synchronized between the application and the DELTA combat system, which will ensure objectivity and transparency of data.

The Minister of Defense noted that this is important for several reasons:

  • Objective accounting of confirmed enemy losses.
  • The ability to constantly monitor the effectiveness of commanders and units according to clear criteria.
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of various types of weapons and ammunition on the battlefield.
  • Optimization of the production and supply of the most effective weapons.

Within the framework of the pilot project, submission of reports on defeats will be possible in individual units.

«In the event of a successful outcome — we plan to extend the project to all parts of the Defence Forces. I thank the government for supporting this initiative. Analytics, digitalization and transparency — this is the way to effective management of the Defence Forces», — he summarized.
