Reported about the distribution of summonses: Telegram channel administrator convicted in Alexandria

In the Kirovohrad region, a court sentenced an Alexandria woman who reported about the places where subpoenas were distributed in an anonymous Telegram channel.

As  the correspondent of «Grechka» found out in the Unified Register of Court Decisions, she was tried for obstructing the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

According to the information, she has been running such a channel since October 2024. There she published information with locations where employees of the territorial recruitment centers of the Oleksandrovsky district distribute summonses.

«Due to the dissemination of this information, people of draft age were able to avoid receiving summonses and mobilization, which is an obstruction of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine», – the case materials say.

Users sent information to the anonymous Telegram channel, and the administrator published it.

When the administrator was exposed, she pleaded guilty and made a deal with the prosecutor. 

The fact that she pleaded guilty was qualified as a mitigating circumstance.

The court approved the plea agreement with the prosecutor on December 19. The channel administrator was sentenced to five years in prison, however, taking into account the mitigating circumstance, Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was applied and she was given a two-year suspended sentence.
