Ukrainians continue to prefer cars equipped with gasoline internal combustion engines. In October, the country's car fleet was replenished with 2.1 thousand new cars with gasoline engines.
This is 19% less than last year, according to the UkrAvtoprom page.
At the same time, the share of gasoline cars in total sales of new passenger cars also decreased. If in October 2023 they covered 45% of the new car market, now – 36%.
The leader of the new gasoline car market last month was the compact crossover RENAULT Duster.
The TOP-5 models of new passenger cars with gasoline internal combustion engines included:
1. RENAULT Duster – 249 units;

Among imported used cars, gasoline cars also hold the lead. 46% of the second-hand cars that had Ukrainian license plates in October (more than 7.5 thousand units) were gasoline. Their average age was 11 years.
