Ukrainian chef and confectioner Liza Glinska decided to share her incredibly delicious recipe. She posted the details on her Instagram page.

Strudel is perfect for an elegant breakfast and festive dinner. It also goes well with cold, creamy ice cream.

Friends, you have been waiting for this recipe for a long time! So today we cook together, everything is easy, tasty, simple and affordable. We take ready-made filo dough, add any filling, put it in the oven and it's ready. I love the apple filling, and the cherry filling… well, I also love salty ones! – writes Glinska.

Ingredients for 2 pcs:

  • 400 g filo dough
  • 100-150 ml oil
  • 1 kg of apples

Preparation method:

1. Peel the apples and cut them into slices.

2. Stew the apples in a pan, in butter, so that the moisture evaporates. Allow the apples to cool.

3. Add breadcrumbs with sugar and vanilla sugar.

4. Add washed, dried raisins and fried nuts.

5. For one strudel, take 4-5 sheets of filo dough, brush each one with oil, cover with another. Put the filling on the edge and form a roll.

6. Bake the strudel at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
2-3 minutes before baking, grease it with a small amount of butter.

7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. It tastes better with creamy ice cream.
