Reboot smartphone without a button: 3 ways to do it

Sometimes a situation may arise when you need to turn off the phone. This is usually done by holding down the power button.

However, there may be a situation where the phone does not respond in this way. One of the simplest ways in this case — leave the phone until the moment when it discharges itself. After that, it’s connected to the charge and after a few minutes the device can be turned on.

If the phone software is fine, but there is a problem with the button itself, there is a way to reboot or completely turn off the phone without the power button using the quick settings menu.

To open it, you need to swipe down from the top edge of the screen. Then find the power icon. You need to click on the icon and a window with several options will appear — select the desired one. By tapping Restart in the pop-up window, you can confirm that you want to restart.

Another way to — set up automatic restart. This function is designed to automatically optimize the operation of the phone, cleaning background programs and RAM. You can set it to restart on a regular basis at a convenient time.
